Cloud computing, once new, is now the center of attention in the IT world. Gartner, a renowned IT research and advisory firm suggests that cloud computing has moved beyond the peak of inflated expectations, almost reaching the point of success.

More and more people and businesses are using cloud applications—by using Gmail and Facebook, etc., we have entered into the cloud system. Accounting, expense reporting, email and other functions are now done by SaaS applications in many organizations.

This implies that cloud computing is dominating the market and by 2013, it is predicted that it will spread like a virus as enterprises are looking forward to make use of its inherent benefits.

1. IT Will Switch to the Cloud for Analyzing and Installing Latest Technologies

But with cloud, this setup will end soon. Businesses have begun to realize that everyone doesn’t need to sit in one place to work. Moreover, an obvious benefit of this change would be huge savings in terms of real estate expenditure – the need of offices would vanish.

Bosses wouldn’t panic in their offices, waiting for work while the employees would feel free with more working hours with this new business idea. Better productivity and efficient work force shall be witnessed, immediately after applying this 24/7 work setup.

3. Businesses Will Finally Accept Public Cloud  

Though there are doubts about public cloud, but generally, cloud computing is accepted. With an increasing use of public cloud, companies are likely to adopt it in 2013. The recent launch of CloudStack and OpenStack has added more credibility to public clouds—they are the most upgraded versions in this category.

Like the Red Hat has advertised and legalized Linux as secure platforms for developers, now, stewards will do same in the open cloud market inviting people to use it for their businesses, without any security issues.
